Pick of the Day The Cleaner

BBC One, 9.30pm Crime scene cleaner Wicky (Greg Davies – who also created the series) is back – and, thanks to a new girlfriend, he’s sporting an earring and is off the booze. It’s bad luck, then, that his first job of this second season is cleaning up after a brawl in a pub, where hard-bitten Lisa (Harriet Walter) is the landlord. It’s not long until she’s telling him about the fight that happened there and tempting him with pints – while also asking him whether the new relationship is worth it.
